Although there are thousands of options when it comes to dart cases, we want to give you a recommendation of not only what is the best dart case out there, but what is ideal for your situation.
The criteria we’ll be analyzing in our review below include obvious factors like quality and durability, in addition to less obvious things like fabric, having an attractive exterior design, and a multi-compartment interior that allows your darts and other equipment to be organized in ways that make sense and provide protection.
Other aspects we may be looking for in our analysis will be based on the type of player you are, how often you play, and how much you need to carry.
Based on these criteria, as well as personal experience, I have made this guide to present to you what I think are the best dart cases currently available on the market.
Let’s look at the picks for the best dart cases

Quick Look At Our Favorite Dart Cases
The 10 Best Dart Cases You Can Buy
Casemaster Warden Dart Case
We’re starting strong with this one! This impressive case by the always reliable Casemaster is one of my favorite cases this year. The Casemaster Warden Dart Case achieves a near-perfect balance of all of the qualities we deem valuable. Few dart cases currently on the market will offer more in terms of quality and functionality.
While Casemaster’s boastful promise to revolutionize dart-carrying technology is a bit of hyperbole, we cannot argue against facts. The Warden Dart Case is made using some of the latest in materials technology, i.e. Tactech foam shells.
Tactech molded foam shells will provide you with a maximum of protection against physical impacts. This will ensure that your darts, and all of your accessories such as flights, tips, etc., are in pristine shape for as long as you keep them tucked tight.
The case comes equipped with 3 Tactech foam slots, molded with solid foam ridges to accommodate 3 fully assembled darts. The slots have an ultra-wide profile that gives your flights full protection against folding and bending. This case also has a rigid exterior for even more protection.
The compact design also means that it is easy to carry, and all of you female players will easily slip it into your purse. We love not having to remove our flights after a long night of playing, and we absolutely love the high-quality materials and simple design for the price.
Casemaster Plazma Dart Case
Our second entry on the list is another strong offering from Casemaster. This time it is the Casemaster Plazma Dart Case.
Where I loved the Casemaster Warden for its high-quality build and simplicity of design, I love the Plazma Dart Case for offering the typical Casemaster quality, but with quite a bit more functionality and convenience for those players that need it.
While this case also holds 3 fully assembled darts, it comes equipped with significantly more space for all of your components. To start, you get 12 very convenient storage pockets out the gate to store all your extra flights, shafts, tips, etc.
As if that weren’t enough, each Plazma Dart Case from Casemaster includes an extremely handy plastic storage tube to further make use of the ample space inside. This tube is perfect for storing a plethora of tips, o-rings, etc.
I also love the fact that the Casemaster Plazma is an extremely durable case, capable of withstanding all but the most brutal of abuse. Made with some cutting-edge materials that will protect all of your darts and assorted components from the elements and even against some rather rough impacts.
The zippers are all of good quality and glide smoothly without hitches. In fact, the overall build of this case screams premium, even though the price remains very affordable.
And for all you color lovers, the Casemasters Plazma is available in the following colors: Black on Black, Black with Ruby trim, Black with Blue trim, Black with Amethyst trim, Black with Orange trim, Black with Green trim, Black with Yellow trim, Black with Pink Trim, and Black with Sapphire trim.
Casemaster Sentinel Dart Case
Here we find yet another beautiful, high-quality case from the folks at Casemaster.
The Casemaster Sentinel dart case is a premium-feeling case for less than the price of a large pizza. The Sentinel is extra-wide so, unlike its slimmer brethren above, it can hold up to 6 fully assembled darts.
The perfect-fit slots sit deep into the hard-resin case and hold your darts securely in place, so you won’t have to worry about your flights getting crushed or bent during transport. There is plenty of additional room in the form of pockets and zippered compartments to store and carry all your accessories.
You can easily store up to 12 sets of flights in the zippered pockets, along with the corresponding shafts, flight protectors, dart sharpeners, and everything else you may need to keep 2 sets of darts fully ready to go, as well as plenty of back-ups in case something breaks and you need to replace it.
We already mentioned the rigid outer shell, but we can’t do it justice with just words. It takes holding it in hand for a few seconds to truly appreciate the durability and rigidity that the Tactech material provides this wonderful dart case.
In addition to being a very robust case, it features a textured grip surface to further minimize the chance that your darts will become damaged by an untimely drop.
The Casemaster Sentinel dart case is another prime example of why Casemaster dart cases are synonymous with quality materials and premium workmanship construction.
Casemaster Sport Dart Case
This is the case to get if you are looking for something that’s strong enough to protect your darts, yet slim enough that it can easily fit into your pants pockets.
With this particular dart case, Casemaster achieves what few other dart case manufacturers can: they achieve a near-perfect balance between value, performance, and workmanship!
Like all other Casemaster dart cases on this list, the Sport dart case is manufactured with a rigid outer shell made from the fantastic Tactech material. This, of course, provides you with the tried and true assurance that your darts will be protected from all but the harshest conditions. In other words, while this case will not protect your darts if you run it over with your car, it will keep your darts nice and safe from everyday wear and tear.
The portable Casemaster Sport dart case features an extended molded profile to hold your fully-assembled darts snugly and securely in place. Forget about ever again worrying that your flights will get smushed in transport.
One final detail we love about this case is the inclusion of the convenient carabiner ring, which makes transporting this compact case a breeze.
ALKOO Dart Case
This case comes to us by way of ALKOO, a young and dynamic manufacturer of dart accessories and sporting storage solutions. The ALKOO dart case is very spacious and can hold up to 6 fully assembled darts, in addition to a large number of extras such as dart flights, dart tips, and dart shafts.
In addition to the removable foam slots, the thick elastic band inside allows you to store your darts more firmly in place. This means that with this case you get increased safety and security for your darts.
Further convenience comes in the form of a double mesh pocket divider. A total of 6 sleeves provide users with a plethora of easy and convenient storage options.
This is a well-designed case with plenty of vertical height so that even the most delicate of components will not suffer any damage. The mesh bag is the perfect spot to keep your aluminum shafts, rubber o-rings, and extra barrels.
This darts case gets an A+ for protection. If you travel a lot to and from tournaments, this is a great option for you. Alkoo has done such a great job here, that you can rest easy knowing your darts will be securely in place throughout transport.
The zipper offers a premium feel in the hands, and the material of the outer casing is very tough and resistant to even the harshest of conditions. This case is shockproof, and even offers a moderate level of waterproofing. You definitely get a hard-to-match level of protection.
Further cementing its spot on our list is the fact that it is very compact. At just over 8 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 2 inches tall, this case is a breeze to carry around and very convenient for active players.
The inclusion of a sturdy, non-slip hand strap is a lovely bonus that we wish some of the competition would adopt.
The Nomad Dart Case by Casemaster
This one is a little bit different.
Casemaster was not afraid to veer away from the traditional dart case design when they came up with this bad boy! However, I love what they have to offer here.
Number 6 on our list is more of a protective shell than a traditional dart case. This protective shell is made from a high-grade hard resin that is extremely resistant to impact, so your darts and accessories will be safe from bumps and drops.
Along the top of the case, you will find what Casemaster dubs the X-Flight Cavity. This ingenious design choice optimizes how your darts slot into the case, thus keeping your darts tightly secured and stationary at all times. You can forget about ever having to fold your flights again.
One of my favorite characteristics of this case is the fact that it has a completely adjustable length. Achieved with the inclusion of notched grooves along the body of the case, this neat little trick allows you to reconfigure its length so that your darts are always secure no matter their length.
If number 5 on this list provided you with some peace of mind due to its water-resistant build, this case takes that to the next level. Due to its hard resin construction, the hard outer shell case is virtually waterproof. No need to worry about keeping your case away from the pub table in case somebody spills a beer.
The case comes in a wide variety of attractive colors and includes a metal carabiner clip so that you can clip it and go on the move with little thought.
Viking Darts Case by Shots Darts
Shot Darts as a brand, is a long-standing fixture in the world of professional darts. For over 50 years now, they have provided us with fantastic products, and the next case on our list is not the exception.
The Viking darts case by Shots Darts is a great product that provides users with fantastic value, and beautiful style options.
When it comes to portability, the Viking dart case by Shots Darts is very compact, and the soft leather finish provides you with a very good level of grip. Walking about with this thing in hand is a very comfortable experience, so it’s great for active players who are always on the go.
Speaking of that leather finish. In our opinion, it is this feature that single-handedly sets this dart case apart from the competition. The soft supple leather is engraved in a beautifully complex Viking design (there is a Ronin version as well). This case comes in Black, White, Brown, and a reddish color. This is a very attractive case, and no matter what option you choose, you will find yourself in style.
This caddie style holder has enough space to securely hold 3 fully assembled darts. There is also some additional storage space, in the form of a zippered compartment, for a few spare shafts, flights, and tips.
While far from being the most spacious dart case on our list, this is the most attractive. It’s also suitable for both soft and steel-tipped darts. A carabiner clip adds extra convenience, and there is even a cardholder slot for your club player’s card.
Casemaster Accolade Aluminum Dart Case
The Accolade dart case by Casemaster is a gem, truly. We love this briefcase-style dart case and it even manages to rival the Viking case in terms of “style”.
This is a richly embossed aluminum dart case, with dusk black and lustrous silver accents, that provides users with a great deal of protection and increased durability for their darts, as well as respectable portability.
This case has a lined interior whose fibers are expertly woven to offer a very premium feel, as well as years of use due to the increased resistance to wear and tear. The interior has space for three fully assembled darts, and thanks to the generous inclusion of spacious pockets, 6 in total, you can safely store a ton of shafts, tips, flights, barrels, and tools. You can even comfortably and securely store a couple of credit cards, and some spare bills.
In terms of protection, your darts will be held in place by tough elastic bands, so your darts stay firmly held in place in virtually all scenarios. No more worrying about darts coming loose and suffering damage during transport.
In terms of durability, the rigid outer shell is strengthened by reinforced corners for increased protection against bumps and stronger collisions. A heavy-duty central briefcase-style buckle provides you with increased security.
This case represents the perfect marriage between strength and lightweight portability.
Cuesol ANTI Dart Case
This case by Cuesol is bigger than expected, and it provides ample protection for your darts and accessories.
The build quality is great, and the case feels sturdy and pricier than it really is.
There is a hidden popup drawer for increased storage capacity. Three fully assembled darts fit snugly into the foam insert found inside the main compartment. However, there is enough space to include 3 more darts as long as you take a minute or two to disassemble them.
The inclusion of adjustable and fully detachable straps makes this case one that is very portable and easy to carry with you everywhere you go.
Harrows Ace Dart Case
Our final case on this list is on the smaller side, having space for only one fully assembled dart set. However, this small case manages to offer significant value and provides users with ample protection for their darts.
The Ace case had a smooth, sleek exterior that is both hard and soft at the same time. I know that doesn’t make sense, but if you hold one you would understand.
A foam insert inside keeps your 3 darts separated and snugly held in place. A small zippered net pocket provides you with some added storage space, perfect for rubber o-rings, extra tips, and other assorted components on the smaller side.
This is perfect for players that are traveling light, (meaning they only carry a few limited components at a time) and want a soft but secure case.
Overall, this is a very nice case. It is on the thinner side, but it still provides a significant amount of protection. It even won our choice for best dart case a few years back and it is still a great choice today if you like the style.
